GSO-MEM WAS THE PRIDE OF GAZIANTEP WITH THE "GOLDEN COMPASS"
Gazıantep Chamber of Industry Vocatıonal Traınıng Center Project won the Golden Compass Award in the Corporate Responsibility-Training Category.
In the Golden Compass Turkey Public Relations Awards project competition held for the 19th time this year by the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD), GCI Vocational Training Center Project (GCI-MEM) of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GCI) was awarded the Golden Compass Award in the Corporate Responsibility-Training category.
In the competition, which is described as the “Oscars of Communication”, 287 projects prepared by Turkey's well-established institutions and organizations competed for the award after passing the rigorous evaluation processes.
Assembly President of GCI Adil Sani Konukoğlu and Chairman of the GCI Adnan Ünverdi jointly received the award given to GCI-MEM for its success in the vocational training category at the ceremony held in Istanbul.

GAÜN academicians will be assigned by Target TTO and will be able to provide training and consultancy services to companies under the coordination of Model Factory.
A cooperation protocol was signed between Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) and Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Target Technology Transfer Office in order to include the academic world in the work carried out by Gaziantep Competence and Digital Transformation Center (Model Factory).

The opening ceremony of Gaziantep Model Factory was held with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and Gaziantep protocol.
A presentation was made to the Minister of Industry and Technology Varank and the provincial protocol, who examined the production lines, technical infrastructure and the work done in the Model Factory, about the services provided by the center to companies and entrepreneurs on entrepreneurship, digitalization and lean production, the trainings and practices given to the companies.

At the opening of the General Assembly held over the video conference system under the chairmanship of TOBB Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the late GSO Assembly Member and TOBB Delegate Mesut İşsever and the members who worked in chambers and exchanges and lost their lives were commemorated with mercy and prayer.

29 COMPANIES FROM GAZIANTEP ARE IN THE ISO 500 LIST
The results of Turkey's 500 largest industrial enterprises were announced.
Adnan Ünverdi, Chairman of the Board of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GCI), said that 29 companies from Gaziantep are on the list, according to the "Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2020 Research" announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISI).
