TOBB WOMEN ENTREPRENEUSR COUNCİL

The TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council was established to provide training, capacity-building support, and assistance to women entrepreneurs in realizing their entrepreneurial ideas. Since 2008, with its local structure in Gaziantep, it has been leading the way in policy making and the development of an entrepreneurial culture among women, with the aim of improving the quantitative and qualitative potential of women entrepreneurs and making them more skilled.

 DUTIES

  • To conduct seminars, panels, and similar training events to provide individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit with the basic information and guidance they need during the establishment and operation of a business, enabling them to use their characteristics more effectively and efficiently;
  • To increase awareness of women's entrepreneurship in our country by highlighting entrepreneurs;
  • To enable women entrepreneurs to intern alongside experienced entrepreneurs;
  • To develop a coaching system to provide support to newly established entrepreneurs by experienced entrepreneurs for a certain period;
  • To determine policies that will help women entrepreneurs establish businesses in universities and sectors, and to direct and encourage women entrepreneurs to these sectors. The Working Procedures and Principles of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee and the Working Procedures and Principles of the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee have been amended and can be downloaded from the legislation section.
