GREEN CONVERSION AWARD FROM KALDER TO GSO
Gaziantep Chamber of Industry , received the Jury Incentive Award within the scope of the Inspiring Public Administration Project Awards.
"Gaziantep Green Conversion Movement Project", carried out by Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, in the 24th Public Quality Symposium / Sustainable conversion in Energy program organized in cooperation with the Turkish Quality Association Ankara Branch and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, Inspiring Public Management Project Award received the Jury Encouragement Award.
Energy Market Regulatory Authority board Member Ali Can Koçak and Deputy Secretary General M. Sermest Çapan attended the program held in the Conference Hall on behalf of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry .
In the program, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry's award was presented to GSO Board Member Ali Can Koçak by Kalder Management.
GSO Board Member Ali Can Koçak, who delivered a speech at the award ceremony, said, "The European Union (EU) establish the EU Green Deal strategy in December 2019 to prevent climate change and ensure the industry's environmentally compatible growth. With this strategy, the EU aims to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions by up to 55% compared to 1990 levels by 2030 and achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Additionally, a border carbon tax will be imposed on the export of products with high emission values to the EU."
Koçak said, "As the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, we have launched our 'Gaziantep Green Conversion Movement' project to contribute more to the national economy, leave a more livable environment for future generations, and eliminate potential obstacles exports. This project aim to inform and raise awareness among companies, universities, public institutions, the public, establish commissions to manage the process effectively, promote best practices in green transformation, facilitate access to investment financing sources for companies, and guide and set strategies for industrialists. We extend our gratitude to KalDer Ankara Branch and the jury members for honoring us and our Chamber with this award. We hope this wonderful event be beneficial. I also thank our GSO team members, who have done significant work in green conversion, and everyone who has supported us."

POWER UNION FOR TECHNOLOGY FROM MODEL FACTORY AND GAÜN TARGET TTO
GAÜN academicians will be assigned by Target TTO and will be able to provide training and consultancy services to companies under the coordination of Model Factory.
A cooperation protocol was signed between Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) and Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Target Technology Transfer Office in order to include the academic world in the work carried out by Gaziantep Competence and Digital Transformation Center (Model Factory).
THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE MODEL FACTORY WAS HELD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF MINISTER VARANK
The opening ceremony of Gaziantep Model Factory was held with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and Gaziantep protocol.
A presentation was made to the Minister of Industry and Technology Varank and the provincial protocol, who examined the production lines, technical infrastructure and the work done in the Model Factory, about the services provided by the center to companies and entrepreneurs on entrepreneurship, digitalization and lean production, the trainings and practices given to the companies.

29 COMPANIES FROM GAZIANTEP ARE IN THE ISO 500 LIST
The results of Turkey's 500 largest industrial enterprises were announced.
Adnan Ünverdi, Chairman of the Board of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GCI), said that 29 companies from Gaziantep are on the list, according to the "Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2020 Research" announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISI).
